Devotionals Proverbs 10:9 Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out. Integrity is defined as being whole or undivided based on strong moral principles. In simple terms , our actions and words go together. Why choose the path of integrity? 1. It secures our way. Sometimes we are tempted to do what is easy rather than what is right. In situations where you have to decide integrity or money. Always choose integrity. When you lose money, you can still work things out but when you lose trust, it would be hard to win it back. Not all shortcuts lead us to the right way. 2.Crooked ways always come with a price. Not because it's not caught, it would not be soon discovered. Remember all gain done at the expense of others will bring us trouble. Don't be deceived with easy earnings. Devotionals Proverbs 21:31 The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with the Lord. In Ancient times, horses were used mainly for the purpose of warfare, though horses can be beneficial in multiple ways such as, racing, traveling, and hunting. Horses were expensive to purchase and to maintain and, for these reasons, ownership was largely limited to the wealthier members of ancient communities. It is a symbol of power and pride. In our time, we can contextualize it to what I call tools. We don't necessarily have wars today, but we have personal or corporate goals and aspirations we want to achieve. Without tools, no matter how skillful we might be it would be impossible to reach it. Imagine a mechanic working on your car without tools. It would cause your time, resources , and the worst result is to end up with accomplishing nothing. In this fast phase world we need tools to aid us for the task and our goal is finishing it in an efficient and productive manner
